LDS UNLEASHED, A PROVEN WINNER, SIRING PROVEN COLTS!

Another year in the books for LDS Unleashed and once again his foals have made us proud, with offspring earnings over the $400,000 mark!

​

Looking over the year, rodeo was where a lot of the Unleashed shined.

 

In 2019 a couple of college rodeo gals, SPENCER YOUNG and JACLYN PICKERELL, left their mark! Spencer ended up, runner up for the year and at the finals, on UNLEASHED TA FLY, who had the honor of being named, "Canadian Intercollegiate Rodeo Assoc, Barrel Horse Of the Year! " JACLYN PICKERELL and her snappy mare DUZIT UNLEASHED ran the fastest time of the entire weekend.
 

In the LRA it was  AIMEE MCKNIGHT and UNLEASH A PRINCESS aka Emjay, having another great rodeo year and qualified for their second LRA Finals and winning 2 rounds!

GINA VOLANSKY  and her team of Unleashed mares, UNLEASHED TA BE SLICKER and GV ON A MISSION, had another great year winning several barrel races and qualifying for their second Prowest Finals!!

​

In the FCA, it was AMARA DUXBURY and her little bay dragon, MOVIN TO ALASKA, aka Allie, that had  a great finish, after missing a good portion of the summer due to Allie suffering a injury.  They managed to make the FCA Finals and come back with a vengeance! Winning ever go round! They won the second round by almost 8 tenths, and went onto the title!  Before Allie's injury, Amara showed Allie could run with the pros after pulling a cheque, out of the ever tough Innisfail Pro Rodeo.

 

NIKI MAKOFKA and ARIZONASTARTUNLEASHED, aka Arizona,had another great year in the CSPRA winning a second Season Leader title and 2nd in the 2019 Wrangler series.

Others that introduced their young Unleasheds to rodeos, where they showed they could handle that atmosphere,  included TAYA HAMMINGS and UNLEASHE THE JETS,  RAYLEE MCKINNEY and UNLEASH THE ACE,  SPENCER YOUNG and UNLEASHED TA GO STREAKIN,  and KIM BABCOCK and UNLEASHAMINIWINNIEME. 

​

In the futurity/ derby season, several experienced success! LOUISE HOUBEN and UNLEASHEDANDCRUISEN, aka Einstein, were consistent money earners at this years derbies. MARCI LAYE and NOCRIMETABE UNLEASHED, aka Halo had a super fall in the futurities! HELEN NOWASAD'S  5 year old gelding, NICKS FAMOUS DEAL. aka Will, proved he’s a double threat in both the barrels and the heading box, running in both futurities!

NICOLA PANA and UNLEASHED TA BE FUN, aka Fun, lived up to the name! Coming into the CBHI futurity with very little experience, they pulled a 7th place Super Stakes cheque for $3600.00! Can hardly wait to watch this one next year and several other up and comers!

2nd place - $300.00 and Sheet to the second highest money winning LDS Unleashed offspring from either the Futurity OR Derby standings in the Canadian Barrel Futurity Association standings at year end. * Must compete in one third (1/3) of Canadian Barrel Futurities events in a given year to qualify. 
 

 BJ Brand Incentive - $500.00 and Sheet to the highest money winning LDS Unleashed offspring sporting our B over J brand, from either the Futurity OR Derby standings in the Canadian Barrel Futurity Assoc. standings at year end. * Must compete in one third (1/3) of Canadian Barrel Futurities events in a given year to qualify. 
 
CFR Incentive - $5,000.00 and Sheet to the first LDS Unleashed offspring to win a CFR Title in the Ladies Barrel Race. * To be eligible for the Incentive, horse and rider must enter and compete at 50% of Canadian pro rodeos in a given season and must run in all go rounds at the CFR.
